Sandra Sullivan, NP
In January 2014 Sandra joined Dr. Peppers and Dr. Glenn at Seaside Spine Medical Associates. She is trained to assist in surgical procedures and specializes in providing treatment for spine orthopedic injuries and disorders. Sandra views medicine with an integrative approach. To her patients, she is a present voice of calm and thoughtful reasoning, and her warm smile and caring demeanor give patients a sense of comfort. She is deeply committed to all her patients. Sandra lives by the philosophy "there is no mountain too high" and her attitude helps patients to overcome their fears due to pain and anticipated surgeries.
During graduate school, Dr. Peppers was her mentor, and after her graduation she joined the Spine Team at CORE Orthopaedic to work alongside Dr. Peppers and Dr. Glenn. Sandra worked with Drs. Glenn and Peppers to develop The Spine Program for Scripps Encinitas and teaches a preoperative class to patients twice a month. This class prepares patients for upcoming surgeries that has lead to a decrease in the length of stay in the hospital and an increase in patient satisfaction. Sandra is also actively involved in research studies of new procedures for spine disorders.
