Jamieson S. Glenn, MD
Jamieson Glenn, M.D., is an American Academy of Orthopedics board-certified spine surgeon who returned home after training to begin his spine orthopedic practice. After 4 years at CORE Orthopaedic Medical Center, he and his partner, Dr. Peppers, opened a private practice providing exclusively spine-related services in an effort to provide enhanced and improved individualized care for all patients.
Dr. Glenn received his Medical Degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2003. For the following five years, he continued his studies at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, completing his surgery internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery. In 2008, Dr. Glenn extended his training in Dallas with a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Texas Back Institute. He treats all pathologies of the neck and back, including but not limited to: adult degenerative disease and deformities such as scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, kyphosis, and complex spine trauma. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery for spinal problems, disc replacement and motion preservation. He is also actively involved in research studies and product development of new surgical procedures.
Dr. Glenn is committed to providing a complete evaluation with an in-depth explanation of the problem and treatment options. "Surgery is the last option" is the cornerstone of Dr. Glenn's philosophy to spine treatment. His goal is to restore movement without pain through non-surgical techniques, such as patient education, pain management therapies, physical therapy and alternative medicine. If non-surgical solutions fail to meet the patients' needs, surgical treatment is individually tailored to maximize benefit and minimize recovery.
Dr. Glenn is an active member of the American Medical Association, North American Spine Society, Spine Arthoplasty Society and California Medical Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Glenn enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and traveling with his wife and two children.
